A/H 1996/97 Ungaro Skirt Suit

This is a documented Emanuel Ungaro black two piece skirt and blazer evening suit from his Fall/Winter 1996/1997 runway collection.

This absolutely stunning vintage evening suit has just enough glamour to wear as an evening dress alternative. The black fabric has a nice diamond texture, trimmed with black beads and unique, large sequins.

The long blazer jacket has 6 front faux pockets also trimmed in sequins and beads, as well as 4 buttons on each cuff and a single button closure in front. It has shoulder pads for structure and is fully lined in silk.

The slim pencil skirt closes with a back zipper and is lined in silk as well. You can wear these pieces together or as separates!

The outfit is labeled a size 14 but fits like a modern day size 12. We have shown an image of this outfit on the runway as part of the Ungaro fashion show.
